Story Plot:
The film opens in Arizona where the aged John Rambo now lives on his late father’s ranch, which he shares with his close friend Maria Beltran and her teenage granddaughter Gabrielle, the latter who views Rambo as something of an uncle. In the years since his last battle in Burma, Rambo has been plagued with PTSD and is still haunted by the memories of death and bloodshed from Vietnam to Afghanistan and Burma. He has also been constructing a series of tunnels beneath the ranch.
