Story Plot:
The love tale of Shakuntala, the daughter of the sage Vishwamitra and the nymph Menaka, and King Dushyant. The remainder of the tale is how fate reunites them after a sage’s curse causes the king to completely forget about her. Starring Samantha Ruth Prabhu as Shakuntala, the film is based on the well-known Sanskrit drama Abhijnana Shakuntalam by Kalidasa.
